In the run up to the August 31 parade date, the paper filmed this interview with Orville Abrahams, who organized the parade. Bridging Arbor Hill and the South End, the African Heritage Parade was the first parade to connect both of these communities, and traveled through several beautiful neighborhoods that had never previously had parades come through.
